Meet Liz Lassa
I'm Liz and I'm thrilled you stopped by. If we haven't met, here's a little about this ministry and myself.
My calling is to help women get still and draw closer to God.
I am passionate about discernment, life direction, and authentic connections.
I am a speaker, retreat leader, life-purpose coach, and creator of the Spiritual Circle Journal, a prayer tool that teaches people how to quiet their hearts and draw closer to God (an entry takes 10 minutes).
This bullet journal is unique because it helps individuals notice God's movement and guidance in their lives.
The Spiritual Circle Journal and I were featured on Moody Radio and published in Focus on the Family Magazines.
My husband, Jon and I, have two sons and a daughter and live in the Chicago area.
I have served in women's ministry for 15+ years and can relate to the real struggles women face.
In my spare time, I enjoy hosting gatherings for family and friends, painting, journaling, and spending time with God. I love to curl up with a good Christian historical fiction novel.
A little more background...
My own story and this ministry were a direct result of daily listening, obeying, and partnering with God.
I was brought up in a loving Christian home and came to know Christ at five years old when my mother, a children's ministry leader led me to the Lord.
I am a member of Community Bible Study (CBS) for 8 plus years total, as well as many other years on Bible Study.
Biblical literacy is very important to me and God uses his Word as the primary way to lead, along with the daily nudges of the Holy Spirit. I did not understand how to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit till I was in my early 30's.
I have been speaking and leading retreats since 2013. All my talks have the theme of connection running through them.
I love leading workshops and retreats (by Zoom or in person) that help people process their prayers on paper through the filter of God’s Word, with the power of the Holy Spirit.
My hope is that through the spiritual practice of journaling people will slow down long enough to have a more vibrant relationship with God and learn to listen better for the daily, life-changing guidance of the Holy Spirit.
I am a Public Relations graduate from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and went into Marketing and PR for several years before going back to school to become a Life Coach. I completed my two-year coach training program through a leading, accredited, international school called Coach U.
When God made it clear my calling is to help others to their calling, I refocused my work in that direction and created a four-call coaching process around life purpose and God-given goals.
I tie together the small daily actions led by the Holy Spirit with the bigger story God is writing, I encourage people to use the Spiritual Circle Journal to help see God's daily guidance and connect that to the bigger picture of their story.
My mission is to foster connection and encourage, enlighten, and inspire women to reach their divine callings.
I believe the entire Bible is the divinely inspired Word and revelation of God.
I believe in the Trinity, which is made up of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe Jesus was born a virgin birth, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and was God manifested in the flesh.
I believe in salvation through Christ’s death on the cross as the Son of God. I believe in his physical resurrection from death and that he now presides at the right hand of the Father.
I believe that hell and heaven exist. I believe in a heaven of eternal bliss for believers who have placed their faith in Christ and eternal hell for those who choose not to believe in the saving work of Jesus Christ.
I believe that all are sinners, saved by grace, “not of works lest any man should boast” and that salvation is attained only by faith in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
I believe that the power of the Holy Spirit dwells within Christ followers.
I believe in the Great Commission to evangelize the world.
I believe in the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to complete his saving work and establish His worldwide Kingdom on earth.
